  • “Service brings healing.”  That’s the motto at MEADAlternativeHigh School, and as one article:Mead group shot_colorof their service projects this year, they collected water bottles for the children attending the Union Gospel Mission’s summer camp at Tshimakain Creek.  They also spent two days at camp in October – doing service projects like chopping wood and clearing debris the first day, engaging in team-building activities the next.  When Camp Director Denny Roach and fellow staff member, Bill Iannuzzi (nicknamed “Captain Awesome” by the kids) visited MEAD to pick up the water bottles, enthusiasm about this win-win partnership was evident on both sides.

If your group is interested in partnering with Tshimakain Creek Camp through service projects or providing supplies, please call Denny Roach at 509-532-3838.
