“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.” ~ Genesis 1:27
Every person bears God’s image. That’s why we’re committed to the hurting and desperate in our community. They deserve the chance to live healthy and productive lives.
The Union Gospel Mission brings transformation to the poor and homeless through a holistic process built around the love of Jesus. This process begins with the recognition that each person is an individual with a unique story.
Utilizing a variety of specially tailored ministries the Mission meets men, women and children in the midst of their struggles with the love of Christ. Every ministry, whether it be our boot camp for homeless youth or Sojourn, the women’s recovery program, meets the needs of the whole person; physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual.
We’ve seen this recipe for transformation succeed time and time again over the last 50 years. Each story of hope is a testament to the power of Gospel-driven change.
